Brookville teachers receive school supply donations

Earlier this year, teachers in Brookville received school supply donations to help them stock classrooms for the spring semester. Through its sixth annual Teacher’s Rock Supply Giveaway, TCC, a leading Verizon retailer, donated supply kits to nearly 6,000 deserving teachers across the U.S., including many in Pennsylvania. Each kit – valued at $77 – included necessary supplies to ensure teachers and students are prepared for another successful semester, including paper, pencils, glue, tissues, folders and more. Since 2014, TCC has donated more than 30,000 supply packs to deserving teachers across the country. These donations are important as the National Center of Education Statistics reports that nearly all public school teachers spend $480 out of their own pockets to pay for school supplies each year.
