REYNOLDSVILLE — The third annual Barnaroo Music Festival is set for July 12-14 in Reynoldsville. Weekend passes to the event are $30 and day passes are $15. Camping is included in the ticket price. Tickets will be available at the gate, and parking will be an additional $5.
Organizers say the festival is a “bring your own beer event,” so minors must be accompanied by a guardian. No pets will be allowed at the festival.
The venue is 35 acres of hills and woods located at 906 Daffodil Road, Reynoldsville. It has has three stages — the Tiki Stage, The Barn Stage, and The Main Stage — which will host a variety of 45 musical acts. Included will be a mix of all types of music with acts from across the east coast, including Providence, Rhode Island and Savannah, Georgia. Featured acts will include Erica Russo, Chase and the Barons, and Easy Tiger.
“We’re all about creating an atmosphere for independent bands and artists to thrive,” Jimmy Trump, one of the organizers, said.
Barnaroo will be catered by Presko this year. Presko is a casual restaurant located next to Martin’s Grocery in DuBois. They will start the weekend with a lunch served on Friday. After that they will provide breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night eats for the rest of the weekend. Some of the foods they serve will be southwest salad, vegan black bean chili, Mongolian stir fry, and grilled cheese.
“We’re really proud of how far we’ve come,” Trump said of the growth of the festival over the past three years.
