DuBOIS — District Judge Patrick N. Ford of DuBois presided over preliminary hearings and other proceedings March 29.

Hearings waived

The following defendants waived their rights to preliminary hearings. Their cases will be sent to the Clearfield County Court of Common Pleas for further disposition.

  • Timothy M. Orcutt, 39, Curwensville, who is charged with misdemeanor counts of making repairs, selling or otherwise dealing in, using or possessing an offensive weapon and use/possession of drug paraphernalia. Unsecured bail was set at $5,000.
  • Nicholas S. Osborn, 25, whose address is listed as the state prison in Camp Hill, who is charged with retail theft in two separate cases. Monetary bail was set at $1,000 on both charges.
  • Leah Fleeger, 29, DuBois, who is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance and a summary traffic violation. Unsecured bail was set at $2,500.
  • Christan R. Shaffer, 43, Knoxdale, who is charged with theft by unlawful taking. Unsecured bail was set at $2,500.
  • William W. Schoening III, 30, DuBois, who is charged with recklessly endangering another person, criminal mischief and driving while operating privilege suspended or revoked. Unsecured bail was set at $5,000.
  • Jesse A. Irwin, 28, DuBois, an inmate in the Clearfield County Jail, who is charged with making terroristic threats, assault, disorderly conduct and harassment. Monetary bail was set at $50,000.
  • Remington Alpaugh, 18, Herman, Pa., an inmate in the Clearfield County Jail, who is charged with unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of minors and indecent assault without consent. Monetary bail has been set at $25,000.
  • Mark McKolosky, 56, DuBois, who is charged with terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person and harassment. Unsecured bail was seat $10,000.

Guilty pleas entered

The following individuals entered a guilty pleas:

  • Heather R. Watson, 24, Penfield, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. She must pay a total of $580.75 in fines and costs and serve a one-year probation sentence.
  • George C. Park, 38, DuBois, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and a summary traffic violation. He must pay a total of $680.75 in fines and costs and serve a one-year probation sentence.

Charges withdrawn

  • A felony count of retail theft was withdrawn against Jaclyn A. Mazzone, 29, DuBois.
