DuBOIS — As hard as it’s been of late for the Brookville Raiders baseball team, there wasn’t anyone on the coaching staff all that comfortable a couple innings into Wednesday night’s District 9 Class 3A Championship game against Kane at Showers Field.

JOHNSONBURG — Johnsonburg used four unearned runs in the fourth and held off a late rally by visiting Brockway as it secured a 5-3 victory in the District 9 Class AA quarterfinals at Knothole Park Tuesday.

DuBOIS — Penn State DuBois is returning to the USCAA Small College World Series championship game with a 3-0 record for the second time in as many years.

DuBOIS — Penn State DuBois took the lead early and never looked back on its way to a 7-1 victory over Southern Maine Community College on the opening day of the USCAA Small College World Series at Showers Field Monday night.

DuBOIS — The DuBois Central Catholic scored a pair of runs in the sixth inning to rally to a 5-4 victory over visiting Philipsburg-Osceola on Senior Day at Stern Family Field Wednesday.

DuBOIS — After seeing its lead disappear in the top of the sixth inning, DuBois scored three runs in the bottom of the frame to secure a 4-1 victory over Brookville at Showers Field Wednesday.

DuBOIS — DuBois Central Catholic scored eight two-out runs over the first two innings on its way to a 12-1 victory over Brockway in five innings at Stern Family Field Tuesday.
