BROOKVILLE — Coming off a state runner-up team finish and its third straight District 9 Class 2A title with the most points scored since 1980, expectations for the upcoming track and field season were sky-high once again for the Brookville Raiders.
DuBOIS — The DuBois track and field teams sent their seniors out in style Monday, sweeping St. Marys to celebrate Senior Night in the squads’ final regular season dual meet.
BROOKVILLE — With a heavy rain delaying things about an hour, the Brookville Area High School track and field teams won three out of four decisions in their three-team Senior Night tri-meet with DuBois and Clearfield.
ST. MARYS — Waiting out a one-hour delay in their tri-meet at St. Marys Tuesday afternoon, both Brookville Area High School track and field teams came away with sweeps of the hosts and Port Allegany.
DuBOIS — Mother Nature wiped out most of the athletic events in the Tri-County Area Tuesday, but the DuBois and Bradford track and field teams dodged the thunderstorms and ultimately split a meet at DuBois Area High School.
PUNXSUTAWNEY — The DuBois track and field teams were swept on the road by Punxsutawney in a dual meet Tuesday, as the girls were defeated 79-71 while the boys fell by a score of 104-46.
MILL HALL — The DuBois track and field teams made the trek out east on Interstate 80 to Central Mountain to battle the host Wildcats and Hollidaysburg in its second tri-meet of the week.
