DuBOIS — Elk County Catholic and DuBois Central Catholic both entered Thursday night’s rescheduled volleyball match missing players, but in the end, that didn’t really have a major impact on the outcome as the Lady Crusaders rolled to a sweep 25-14, 25-8, 25-13.

BROCKWAY — The Brockway girls tennis team has turned back the clock to 2014 this week, accomplishing something they hadn’t done since that year — win a District 9 Class AA doubles title while also advancing to the finals of the team tournament.

DuBOIS — The DuBois cross country teams closed out an impressive regular season Tuesday by sweeping a Senior Night tri-match against Elk County Catholic and DuBois Central Catholic.

DuBOIS — The Brockway girls soccer team got off to a fast start Tuesday night against DuBois, but it was all Lady Beavers from there as they spoiled the Lady Rovers’ Senior Night festivities with a 6-1 victory at Frank Varischetti Field.

BROCKWAY — It was a successful Senior Night for Brockway’s boys soccer team and its nine seniors Tuesday night, as they took a 6-0 win over DuBois at Frank Varischetti Field.

RIDGWAY — The St. Marys cross country team swept a quad-meet at Ridgway Tuesday that also featured Brockway and Coudersport.

BROOKVILLE — The last time the Brookville Lady Raiders volleyball team faced St. Marys, it was a four-set loss on the road that dropped them to 1-6 back on Sept. 21.

DuBOIS — Clarion and DuBois clashed Monday night in a battle of unbeaten District 9 volleyball powerhouses, and it was the visiting Lady Cats who showed why they are always among the best in the state with a straight set victory, 25-20, 27-25, 25-23.

DuBOIS — It was a defensive battle between the Indiana Indians and the DuBois Lady Beaver girls soccer teams Monday evening. But in the end, the Lady Beavers made one of its shots count and picked up a 1-0 win against a tough opponent.
