SHIPPENSBURG — Coming off a six-medal showing at the PIAA Class AA Track & Field Championships on Friday, the Tri-County Area wasn’t as fortunate Saturday in cool and rainy conditions in the Class AAA Championships at Shippensburg University.
ALTOONA — The DuBois Area Middle School track and field program dealt with uncharacteristically low numbers this past season as it had just 28 combined athletes between the boys and girls squad.
BROOKVILLE — The DuBois Lady Beavers found themselves on the outside looking in in regards to the team title battle Wednesday at the District 9 Class AAA Track & Field Championships, but that doesn’t mean the squad lacked in outstanding individual performance.
DuBOIS — The DuBois boys track and field team showed off its depth Wednesday as it did what few DuBois squads before them have done — capture a District 9 Class AAA team title.

ALTOONA — The weather hasn’t been the best for high school track and field invitationals the last couple weekends, and Friday was no different at the Altoona Mount Lion Classic.
BROOKVILLE — The DuBois and Brookville track and field teams split a meet against each other Tuesday, with both schools sweeping DuBois Central Catholic in a tri-meet held at Brookville Area High School.
DuBOIS — The DuBois and Bradford track and field teams split a meet at DuBois Tuesday, with each side winning by near identical scores.
PUNXSUTAWNEY — The DuBois track and field teams made the short trip to Punxsutawney Tuesday for a tri-meet that also featured DuBois Central Catholic and came away with a combined 3-1 day.
HOLLIDAYSBURG — The DuBois track and field teams hit the road for the first time Tuesday and were swept in a meet at Hollidaysburg, with the Lady Beavers falling 86-64 and the Beavers 99-50.
