DuBOIS — Elk County Catholic and DuBois Central Catholic both entered Thursday night’s rescheduled volleyball match missing players, but in the end, that didn’t really have a major impact on the outcome as the Lady Crusaders rolled to a sweep 25-14, 25-8, 25-13.

BROOKVILLE — The last time the Brookville Lady Raiders volleyball team faced St. Marys, it was a four-set loss on the road that dropped them to 1-6 back on Sept. 21.

DuBOIS — Clarion and DuBois clashed Monday night in a battle of unbeaten District 9 volleyball powerhouses, and it was the visiting Lady Cats who showed why they are always among the best in the state with a straight set victory, 25-20, 27-25, 25-23.

BROCKWAY — The Brockway volleyball team held its annual Pink Game Monday night against DuBois Central Catholic, and energized by an emotional crowd on hand for the event, the Lady Rovers upended the Lady Cardinals in four sets, 25-18, 26-24, 14-25, 25-20.


DuBOIS — Coming off a five-set win at Warren Tuesday night, those involved with the DuBois volleyball program entered Thursday’s matchup against Ridgway worried about a possible letdown after such a big victory.

DuBOIS — Playing for the first time since finishing second at the Clarion Tournament on Saturday, the DuBois volleyball team made quick work of Bradford Thursday night, 25-10, 25-15, 25-12.

BROCKWAY — The Punxsutawney Lady Chucks volleyball team picked up a road win in straight sets Thursday night, defeating the Brockway Lady Rovers 25-17, 25-15, 25-17.

DuBOIS — Coming off a tough five-set loss at St. Marys Monday, the Ridgway volleybal team bounced back in a big way Tuesday night with a sweep of DuBois Central Catholic, 25-15, 25-21, 25-22 at the Varischetti Sports Complex.

BROCKWAY — The Johnsonburg Ramettes girls volleyball team downed the home Brockway Lady Rovers in straight sets Monday evening, 25-9, 25-13, 25-11.
