DuBOIS — Coming off a tough five-set loss at St. Marys Monday, the Ridgway volleybal team bounced back in a big way Tuesday night with a sweep of DuBois Central Catholic, 25-15, 25-21, 25-22 at the Varischetti Sports Complex.
BROCKWAY — The Johnsonburg Ramettes girls volleyball team downed the home Brockway Lady Rovers in straight sets Monday evening, 25-9, 25-13, 25-11.
PUNXSUTAWNEY — The Punxsutawney volleyball team swept visiting Brookville, 25-14, 25-22, 25-20, Thursday night.
DuBOIS — The DuBois Lady Beavers volleyball team took down the visiting St. Marys Flying Dutch in straight sets Thursday night, 25-17, 25-19, 25-21.
DuBOIS — The DuBois volleyball team opened Monday’s night’s matchup against cross-town foe DuBois Central Catholic in dominance fashion, but then the Lady Beavers were forced to work to finish off a sweep of the Lady Cardinals, 25-4, 25-16, 25-20.
BROCKWAY — When a sports program is struggling to win, often times the hardest thing to do to turn things around is convince the players they can make that happen.
DuBOIS — The DuBois volleyball team used aggressive serving and a strong night at the net to race past visiting Punxsutawney in straight sets, 25-9, 25-13, 25-10, Thursday night.
DuBOIS — It went a little further than it may have liked, but for the DuBois Central Catholic High School volleyball team, it was certainly worth the added effort as it notched a pair of firsts with a five-set, 25-20, 23-25, 25-18, 17-25, 15-3, victory over Brockway Thursday.
ST. MARYS — The St. Marys Flying Dutch volleyball team looks to rebound in 2021 after having a 6-11 season last year, as they’ll attempt to do so with plenty of upperclassmen leadership.
